The system uses bar code scanners and printers and a wireless handheld device to manage and control inventory.What used to take hours, now can take minutes just by easily scanning information through a bar code. MICAS is generally used on Air Force and Army bases. It can track and manage critical mobility equipment. It provides security that the inventory is safe at all times. It can show who has it, where it is located and any and all information needed on that particular asset at any time. Software can be installed on one high priority computer or it can run on different stations at the same time.
